Guatemalans.
Ok, Malach is not short by any means, much taller that your average male, but not say professional athlete tall. So, you all know reading this blog, that there was a huge illegal immigrant bust in New Bedford some weeks back. The organization Malach works for provided legal help to immigrants, so needless to say, the office I work in has become a triage center for those busted, and their families. Malach has been little help as his Spanish consists of Dora the Explorer phrases, but I have helping by emptying the garbage and general housecleaning. You see, my office is on the first floor (make sense consider I deal with the disabled). Me and only two other casemanager have offices on the first floor. That leave two extra offices, and two conference rooms, all which have been taken over by immigration services.
Needless to say the building is constantly filled with people from Latin America, mostly Guatemalans, some Mexicans, El Salvadoreans (yeah I asked not one of them has ever heard of Toyi), Hondurans, Mayans, and the like. I must say this . . . Latin Americans are VERY short people. One of my co-workers is 5'8" and even he feels tall among them.
Fuel Alternatives.
Can't we just get away from the back scratching politcal BS, and force these changes? If I were President, I would make it law that all vehicle had to be hydrogen powered by 2012. Kind of like what San Fran just did.

eh eh well yes Malach, I will say that at least 70% of latin culture is short, back in El Salvador I was one of the tallest woman in the University and I am in the general average height (5'6")but this considered tall for latin american average well I was not very tall to make a significant difference but for 1 or 2 Inches.
My family (Mail side of the family, they are considered very tall (my dad, little brother 18, and my other brother 27, all are 6 feet tall and few inches more), they are even taller than some male american men...our family in specific is mixed with europeans, white american & black caribean, most of the general Latin American population has Indian roots and is the main reason why they are short, but there is some particularity, they are physically strong & also have strong temper.

yes 5'5" is average latin american men.
I have a feeling that some people's reason for living was just validated by those Star Wars stamps. I bet that they had kept themselves alive just for this moment and now have no idea what in the hell to do with their lives.
Also, I will be buying the stamps . . .
