HELP!

3.11.2007

Plugs, once again.
Sunshine number 15 has been loaded, this one is a fave of mine. Also the DoMT has been updated a bit too.

And just because, HUMPERS!

You are listening too . . .
Help!
by The Beatles off the album of the same name and of course the theme for the film of the same name. Surprisingly, this was one of Lennon's most favorite Beatles songs, this and Strawberry Fields Forever. Very auto-biographical, it was according to Lennon, a rant of sort, about The Beatles meteoric rise to fame, and the problems that it brought along with the rise (Lennon often labeled this period of his life, his Fat Elvis period). It also again signaled, with the album, a moving away from poppy love songs, to a more deep emotional lyrical content and feel. Lennon himself stated he wished it was recorded in a slower, more folk version, but personally, I don't think it would have the same sort of impact. This song is definitley a cry for help, even it is pop state. It also signalled the bands disdain for touring and all toghether they stopped touring one year after the release of the Help! single.

Again, you begin to see The Beatles exploration (along with George Martin, more of Martin later) of music, and the technology available at the time. This song also has some killer harmonizing vocals, remiscient of some The Beach Boys best stuff. You also see a much bigger concentration of rock guitar and guitar rifts in this song.

RIP Richard Jeni
Evidently (while not confirmed as of this post) died of a self inflicted gunshot wound. Too bad, Jeni was very talented, and a very smart comedian. I seem to recall him stating on The Howard Stern Show, that he suffered from depression.

Looks very interesting at least visual. There is also a review at the WoW. Yeah, that's the webcomic author Palmer.

Malach has said this before and will say it again.
If you compare Dogs and Cats to people . . .
Dog = Mentally Retarded
Cat = Mentally Ill
That is all you ever need to know.

Welcome to New England Donte Stallworth
Stallworth is an interesting acquistion. Easily the best WR here since Troy Brown's heyday. This issue with Stallworth? Well, I have had him numerous times on a fantasy team. He can put up HUGE numbers, but try and keep him healthy.

Oh please let the do it!
And let Ahmadinejad do the talking! I need more quote of the day!

Damn!
Stop and Shop (yes, you have seen their stores on Family Guy) has averted a strike. Malach has this plan, you see they were hiring scabs at $15 - 20 hour. . that was going to be my gold mine!

Impossible?
Well, not for Malach.

Malach's Quote of the Day.
With religion, You're basically killing each other to see who's got the better imaginary friend. - Richard Jeni

I am Malach and I wonder if Starbuck is still dead?

is sad to hear that a comedian is depressed, but I guess nobody is exempt in this world from having a bad moment, not being able to handle it or seek for help.

Yeah, he needed HELP!
