I should be sleeping like a log . .

Big Time plugs.
First, there is a new 8 1/2 by Eleven, in this one, Jessica shares with us here screwed up ideas on marriage.

Now the big one. Hold onto your seats. The New West has returned, well sort of. You see, Hex, has turned it into a new webcomic, he calls Sunshine. Sunshine is pure genius, in a Michael Jackson sort of way. The best way to describe it is one paneled chaos. 11 episodes are loaded and there are PLENTY more where that came from. Now if I could only get Palmer or Big Uncle Gorilla to come back . .

Also, The Deck of Many Things will be sneaking the new episode of Sunshine a day or so before I publish them. The first sneak was up there earlier.

So, there were whole blocks of the South End blocked off by the Police today.
Evidently Bianco Inc was raided by the INS today and netted about 300 - 350 illegal aliens working in their 1900's sweatshop-like conditions. Not surprising. New Bedford has always been a city of immigration. It has worked like this for centuries. The French and Italians moved in, made some good money over the generation, sold their property moved into the surrounding suburbs; then the portuguese, who are now in the process of moving to the surrounding suburbs; now it is the Hispanics. New Bedford has a population of about 93,000; 110,000 is you count illegals. It shows a major problem in this country. Americans don't want these types of jobs, and their crappy pay, but if you can come sneak in here from Guatelamala, $7.00 an hour is a lot of money, and compared to what you family is going through there, it is worth the risk. If you did a sweep of the waterfront here (#1 fishing port in the US 10 years running), you would arrest probably close to 1500 people. Viva New Beige!

As for Bianco, I have had several of my clients work there, and the decriptions of the conditions from the news, don't surprise me. My office is approximately 4 blocks from this picture, don;'t you feel close, you almost sitting on my lap.

What do you think Jail is like?
For a man named Scooter, too bad it won't be real jail.

Wow.
There are a lot of sad whinos, college students, and cheap drunks today. Funny story about Malach. In college he was famous for walking around campus with a gallon of Ernest and Julio Gallo. E&J though, never made the Bum Wines.com list, not potent enough I suppose.

Uh yeah.
So I get into a fight with my wife, and she pisses me off enough to hit her. I take a baby and use it as a bat? Some people REALLY need to use birth control.

I got my tickets.
You got yours? Hey, I can promise you my blog will be really entertaining tomorrow if I win.

So.
Who pays for these stupid studies? The Center for Obvious Information (COI)? Hey Dingus, my website has over 450 pages!

Hey another one for the COI.
O MY GOD CAN YOU BELIEVE RON ARTEST IS ACCUSED OF SLAPPING A WOMAN?!?

The Rap and Roll Hall of Fame.
It was only a matter of time, expect in the next few years the like of Public Enemy, Boogie Down Productions, Eric B. and Rakim, Run DMC, NWA . . .

Malach Quote of the Day.
Today I didn't even have to use my A.K., I got to say it was a good day. - Ice Cube

Ron Artest is a victim of racial profiling. I know it, you know it, the whole damned system knows it!

Ahh, the sarcasm cup runneth over

I really never faced a situation like this because I never been illegal and I am thankful for that, but I guess is always good to try to get your papers if you are illegal.
I know lot of people that have made their immigrant status legal & I also admit that only those who try hard and use their skills, patience and intellect master it, those who didn't go to school or sit on trying not to adjust to this country language and laws or either sit hopeless before trying or get too confortable with earning "Money" doing 3 or 4 jobs and leaving "Legal status" down the list of priorities.

Papers are worthy, I have friends that just got their US residence aproval after 6 years others 10 of work with the same company, yeah with short pay, but tell me isn't it worthy? later you will be FREE FREE to pick and do what you want w/o having to hide from authority like a criminal.

That's the problem now, the amount of time, money, and red tape to become legal.

I wasn't being sarcastic.

yes but most of these people have been here for years (7, 9 10)... I mean it just got tougher since 2 years a go, uhm and was not that expensive, a lawyer would charge $5000 to $8000 for the proces, it was long but it was possible, I know it won't be easy for everybody, but I know people that regrets now not to have done better in their past.

OJ too is a victim

I am not too sure about OJ being a victim.
