The Skinny on the forum.
We have a new forum, I transferred all the info from the old forum to the new one. Problem. I cannot rename the new forum to match the old address with out reloading the entire thing so the forum has a new web address, CHANGE YOUR LINKS AND BOOKMARKS. The new address is:

The old forum is still there, just to direct people to the new one. It will be gone by the end of the week. As for the new forum, I love phpBB. This is what I should have used it in the first place. I will be working on the look this week, so it has a interesting style.

The old forum. While it was ok, it suffered from too many errors, in which I constantly had to reload it. It would then drop features, and I would reload it again (reloading sometime took a hour). The Support was no real hope, and catacomb like. At least with phpBB, the support is there and the perks. I apologize to our forum members profuseley.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
No suprises with the fueds and the Sex Pistols reaction. Put yourself in the Pistols shoes. One of the most influential bands in the past 30 years, gets snubbed by the Hall of Fame for years? Myself and Russel the Love Muscle had an interesting conversation regarding the future of the Hall of Fame. The have already snubbed Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, and you wonder who will be the first rap artist they let in? Run DMC? The Beastie Boys? You wonder if innovative bands like Public Enemy and NWA will make it.

You wonder who will make it in the coming years. Obviously the Talking Heads, REM and U2 willl all make it, but what about Sonic Youth, The Minute Men, Husker Du, The Replacements? Will Michael Jackson make it? Madonna? What rock bands of the 80's seriously need to go in? Motley Crue, Van Halen, Bon Jovi. How about Poison? GNR and Faith No More should make it, but what about Ween? You wonder when the time for bands of the 90's hits, of course Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Jane's Addiction, but how about the Pixies, Mother Love Bone, Helmet?

It will be interesting.
