We are back.

11.12.2006

Sorry about yesterday.
Was the young son's 5th birthday party, and of course people stayed later (2am or so), so I had no time for internet persuits. Interestingly, I met a few buckos via my wife's friends; some people I know who I did not even realize followed my stuff religiously; and one of my best and favorite buckos, Kernsie gave me a request or two for this blog (Paganism being a big one, that will be tomorrow).

We are doing well, averaging 400 - 500 unique hits daily, and getting tons of ad revenue. Thanks to you. We are also about 200,000 hits way from 4 million and this site is not even yet 2 years old.

Of course that also meant no updates this weekend, but there will be some next week, including a reworking of "Lying . . .".

Prehistoric Park.
Malach is not a big TV watcher. He watches Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, and Ultimate Fighter pretty religiously, other than that he watches a lot of Cartoon Network, History Channel, and Discover Channel. There is also the Sox and the Pats too.

So recently something that has got me completely hooked is Prehistoric Park. First plus is it stars Nigel Marven whose a bit of a freak to begin with. Think low key, slightly crazier Steve Irwin. Basically it is cross between a wildlife documetary and a reality show about a zoo. The strange part is none of the creatures in the show are real (or rather they are extinct). Here is the basic plot. Marven, and fellow animal people, set up a zoo to house prehistoric animals in the modern day. Essential to this alternate reality is the ability for Marven and his team to be able to go back in time, coax prehistoric animals, dinosuars, mammals, and insects back to this modern world and this made up zoo. All the animals are done with puppetry, special effects and of course CGI. One half of the hour long show it Marven hunting these things and trying to get them back, and the other half zoo staff trying to adjust these animals to modern times. It is all together weird, but at the same time funny. Gotta see it, only on Animal Planet.

You are listening too.

No News is Good News.
Surprisingly there was little in new or interesting news this weekend. Monday's a new day I guess.

Malach's Quote of the Day.
"Miss Piggy and I have a professional acting relationship. I act like a professional, and she acts like we're having a relationship." - Kermit the Frog
